Haute Couture Wedding Dresses for Spring 2014
Paris Haute Couture Fashion week is another exuse for designers to try their hand in wedding dress design. And try they did. Schiaparelli have created a pant suit though and Jean Paul Gaultier didn’t bother with the dress part leaning towards wedding lingerie territory instead but all in all we got a range of beautiful dresses to swoon over from Alexis Mabille to Zuhair Murad.
Haute Couture Wedding Dresses
Alexis Mabille couture
Alexis Mabille’s collection was all kind of bridal. You can practically choose any dress for your big day. And there are quite different styles too. If you prefer minimalistm or, on the contrary, contrasting textures and voluminous details, chances are you’ll find something for your taste.
Zuhair Murad couture
Though Zuhair Murad already has a bridal line, his couture wedding dress is even more intricate and fairy tale-y, if that’s even possible. Embroidered from top to bottom this heart-shaped seashell is a marvel to see.
Elie Saab couture
Elie Saab has got a designer gig at Pronovias but his own dress is also very dramatic. Embroidered with his signature flowery swirls the creamy frock has a skirt suited for wedding ball, no less. Also the collection is full of stunning dresses white and colored that are well worthy of being worn on a wedding day.
Ralph & Russo couture
Ralph and Russo went with trendy trail skirt that was also ruffled and layered and completed the look with a floor length embroidered veil. What do you think, too much?
Serkan Murad couture
Speaking of theatrical though here is Serkan Murad’s wedding dress (or at least we think it could be a wedding dress). The feathers are quite trendy this fall. What do you say?
Oscar Carvallo couture
Finally, if you are looking for something really surprising and unusual, Oscar Carvallo’s dress might be the most unique we’ve seen yet.
