Types of wedding rings
Bridal set. It is also often called the wedding set. It is the pair of rings that is designed to be worn together. Some of them may consist of the three rings: bride’s engagement ring, wedding band and groom’s wedding band.
There are two types of the engagement rings: parallel rings and integrated rings. In the first set, the wedding band can be either with the inset or pave stones, but not the raised stone otherwise it will interfere with the engagement ring when worn at the same time. The integrated set, in turn, has the wedding band that cannot be worn without the engagement ring, otherwise it will look incomplete.
Wedding ring set. The wedding ring set can be of 2 types: dual band set and the triple set. The band set stands for the couple of the matching wedding rings intended for the bride and the groom. Triple set includes the two wedding bands and a coordinated engagement ring.
There is a significant difference between men’s and women’s wedding rings and the main one is the absence of fragile details on the men’s rings since men are the ones who are usually involved in the sports and other heavy activities.
Plain bands. If you don’t want your wedding band to be flashy and attention-catching, you may consider the platinum, gold or tungsten ring of the plain design.
Diamond wedding rings. Diamonds are the symbol of luxury and refinement. If you want your wedding ring to present you as a person who belongs to the people of quality and values the high end items, then you should definitely opt for the diamond wedding ring. The diamonds in the wedding rings are usually much smaller than those in the engagement ring.
Cultural wedding rings. Couples that are eager to try something unique may opt for the cultural wedding rings that would reflect their ethnic origins, family heirlooms or antique treasures. These rings are highly symbolic.
