Astonishing Pelican Hill Wedding
Wedding planning is a big stress itself, but when you live thousands miles away from your wedding venues and get to see it two weeks prior to the wedding day, planning becomes even more complicated. This beautiful couple however didn’t make a big problem out of this fact and fully relied on the experienced team of The Special Day. The wedding theme in the purple and pink gamma along with the sophisticated style served as ideal tributes to the two significant for the couple cities.
The couple met in Las Vegas, when they were working at the same company. Their relationship started as a fun non-committal romance, which turned into the real love. However the bride had to continue her studies in California, but Kevin (the groom) proved her that the long distance is not a reason for breaking up.
Every weekend he visited her in California for a few months, which proved the seriousness of his commitment. After the graduation the bride started living in Las Vegas and a year later Kevin proposed to her. However, the couple’s adventures didn’t cease as they decided to move to Singapore.
As for the wedding planning, the couple had the raw of challenges since they wanted to celebrate their big day in US, but owing to the help of the local bride’s parents and wedding coordinator Sophia they managed to plan the striking wedding day without their presence. They even picked the venue without seeing it in person- they simply looked at the pictures of Resort at Pelican Hill with the beautiful ocean view and immediately made up their mind.
They decided to incorporate the Signapore nature in their wedding day by opting for the stunning orchids, which appeared in the centerpieces, menus, invitations and of course in the bridal bouquet.
As for the color gamma, they wanted to introduce the bold and modern elements of Las Vegas and thus went for the shades of purple and magenta, which were complemented with the mirrors and glass for the classy look. During the wedding reception the couple served the signature cocktails like Singapore Sling and Cosmopolitan.
The wedding celebration came together wonderfully, despite the fact that the bride was a bit indecisive during the wedding planning process. At one moment she started making doubts about the color gamma she already picked and fearing about the wedding style and her own look not being timeless as some time passes.
However, her maid of honor persuaded her that it is essential to demonstrate their love TODAY, to imprint the CURRENT emotions and to take the one of a kind shoots of their live as they are at this particular moment.
