Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014
If you are looking for something sleek and fitting Cushnie et Ochs and Veronique Leroy have two minimalist options in both midi and maxi length. The former is a beautiful off shoulder maxi gown and the latter is an off white midi dress with a side slit. Both feature no detailing or decor whatsoever, only pure style and minimalism.

Though these dresses will probably cost more than low to mid range wedding dresses one can’t deny their allure that stands out among all of the bridal wear. For instance, Marchesa ruffled gown with a black sash is both bridal and costume-y while Monique Lhuillier’s short tulle dress with pink neck is simply unique. Laura Biagiotti offers a midi dress with assymetrical shirt and chest decor. Beautiful tulle makes the skirt look a bit full.

Jenny Packham is known for her glam evening gowns and the designer has a charming wedding line so seeing the V-neck dress with structured skirt was pretty natural. It was surprising however to see wedding-like dresses in Victoria Beckham’s collection. Her usually practical and business lady style has become her signature over the years but here we are with a short dress with a sheer T-shirt body and a voluminous skirt.

Halston gown is a sure find for boho brides. The off white maxi sequined dress has long sleeves but features a daring chest slit.

Since short wedding dresses are ‘in’ this year Tadashi Shoji’s pleated creation could be an ideal choice. It has a bit of decor at the sides but overall it’s floating and super feminine.

What do you think about wearing these dresses to a wedding?
