Colorful Wedding Dress

We already wrote about colored wedding dresses and their meanings. Today you really don’t have to go for white and can even opt for such dramatic colors as red and black. But if you have hard time choosing one color to wear we suggest trying a colorful wedding dress or an ombre one. It could be both fun and gorgeous.

On-Trend Wedding Dress

The latest trends are subtly incorporated into the bridal fashion but you can opt for ready-to-wear white dresses designed with your favorite trends in mind. Think assymetrical hemline, cutouts, peplums, and other trends you might find appealing.

Dramatic Costume-y Dress

Dramatic wedding dresses are usually ball gowns or elaborate mermaid style dresses but what about feathers, corsets, and sparkly sequins? This is especially important if you are doing a themed wedding. A steampunk wedding dress can incorporate a corset and a playful stripe print. Feminine and fun!

Trouser Ensemble

As we mentioned, you can opt for a white suit with lace, train, and other decorative details or a jumpsuit if a trouser suit seems too formal if you don’t feel comfortable in a dress. Another great way to sport trousers on your wedding day is to pair them with a dramatic top with a train or a peplum. Think Dior Couture.

Tutu Skirt

A tutu skirt is playful and DIY-able. With help of some white tulle and elastic band you can create a tutu skirt of any size and length and then pair it with a pastel-colored cardigan or a matching top. Also think bustier, embroidered tank top, or a bralet top.

Wedding Coat

If you are having a winter wedding making sure you both look and feel comfortable is important. But how to deal with cooler weather? A wedding coat can become a great alternative to a dress. You can choose a very simple chemise-style dress to wear underneath the coat and sport an embroidered outerwear piece like a dress instead.
